Learning comes home
DILI, Timor-Leste — Development advanced this month on the Timor Home App, a home-learning companion built by World Mosaic for the EdTech for Early Learning project with its community development partner, Mary MacKillop Today. The app brings playful, Tetun-language early learning activities to families on ordinary Android devices, designed for real-world connectivity conditions, with no individual child screen time.
Every activity is grounded in the daily life of Timorese children, from the microlet that carries them to town to the songs and stories of home. When learning looks and sounds like a child’s own world, families lean in.
