Mergers and Aquisitions case studies

For over a decade, World Mosaic has facilitated edtech investment rounds, company formations, trade sales and mergers and acquisitions. Here is a snapshot:

Education business designer for international Venture Capital

Mosaic was commissioned by the Internet VC arm of one of the world’s largest media companies to conduct education opportunity analysis, product conceptualisation, and develop a business plan for a new education technology company. Mosaic identified key start-up personnel and planned the Go-To-Market strategy. The business plan was subsequently implemented by third parties introduced by Mosaic. The company is now growing across Australia, the US and beyond.

Growth strategy for multi billion dollar US education corporation

End-to-end marketing, business consulting, trade sale support and market entry services

Mosaic supported the CEO and Directors of a Boston-based software company to prepare their business for due diligence and subsequent acquisition by a multi-billion dollar US corporation.  Simultaneously, Mosaic led the Boston bid team to win an enterprise platform contract with the City of Boston and numerous other US school districts. Mosaic arranged the company’s entry in the Illinois and US charter school markets.

Mosaic subsequently guided the acquiring company’s efforts to integrate the acquired Boston company and to launch the relevant Student Information System technology in the UK, Canadian, Middle East and Australian markets. Through Mosaic’s expertise, the client secured national procurement framework accreditation with UK Department for Education for MIS (Management Information Systems) and Learning Services.

Mosaic supported the client with market research, recruitment, marketing and business development services pre and post acquisition. Mosaic immediately set up the corporation’s first ever enterprise partnerships with the likes of Fujitsu Canada, British Telecom, Sakhr Software (Middle East) and TechnologyOne (Australia).

Mosaic was subsequently appointed by the president of the corporation’s international unit to reset the corporation’s overall international business expansion and marketing approach in product and services categories spanning print and digital.
