DILI, Timor-Leste — World Mosaic delivered HAAP technical training this month to the Ministry of Education’s DNSIT technical team, beginning the formal handover of the HAAP application and Ministry portal. Sessions were hosted at the Mary MacKillop Today office, led by World Mosaic’s Dili-based developer alongside Ministry counterparts.

Handover is an empowering phase for capacity and sustainability. The training covered system architecture, database, administration and the documentation the Ministry needs to run, maintain and extend HAAP without ongoing external support. A program that depends on its builders is a pilot; a program a ministry can run is national infrastructure.

The work reflects how World Mosaic approaches each engagement in the region: build local capability from the outset, then step back. The goal was never to be indispensable. It was to leave something that works and belongs to the people it serves.
