DILI, Timor-Leste — World Mosaic joined local lead partner, Mary MacKillop Today, in Timor-Leste for field engagement across rural and urban preschools, observing children and teachers working with the EdTech for Early Learning activities in real classrooms.

The visits confirmed the project’s central design insight: one projected screen, rich local content and a confident teacher can transform a whole-class experience. Children sang, counted, moved and performed, and their teachers shaped what the next round of activities will become. Every observation now feeds directly back into design. World Mosaic assisted the observation process through the creation of a preschool observation tool.
