Dili, Timor Leste: World Mosaic was invited to collaborate with local stakeholders to identify the learning needs of preschool children in Timor Leste and to subsequently ideate, storyboard, design and pilot a digital solution to address those needs. World Mosaic collaborated with longstanding Sweden-based partner, IST, to assess IST’s Management Information System (MIS) market fit for schools in England. An outcome of the research was the identification of the IST solution’s USP – the ability to manage, maintain and report on planning, assignments, evaluation and IDPs. World Mosaic director, Mark Lamont, was invited to conduct an online forum for students studying at the School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry at Curtin University. Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia: World Mosaic advanced its collaboration with academics at Bond University and Western Sydney University (WSU) to conceptualise a three-year project to research and commercialise digital innovations to identify and support individual and group wellbeing and associated interventions, including music-based activities. The project team set goals and actions for a substantial Linkage grant application through the Australian Research Council, World Mosaic playing an industry partner role in edtech product ideation, development and testing.
